The Mari-El Republic is called the lake land - there are more than 200 lakes and many of them are situated in picturesque places and in the forests in the lowland. Usually we take guests to have a rest near the biggest and deepest Yalchik lake. Its depth is 34 meters and it is famous for its clean water and rich vegetation.
